STAR ANISE 5kg

Our star anise grows in Vietnam, it is the fruit from a tree very common in Asian forests. Star anise is very different from anise.
Fruits are harvested just before they reach their maturity. That is the reason why we get its intense and sweet flavour in sweet and savoury dishes and cocktails.
A 8 branches flower with green anise flavour, fresh hints of fenouil, with a taste similar to liquorice.

Applications:
Used in many soups, hot infusions, cold drinks, with alcohol and alcohol free.
Is one of the ingredients of the famous 5 spices mix in chinese cuisine.
Excellent when combined with green cardamom.
